San Juan de La Rambla, located on the north-east gorge that passes through to the sea, is a delight for its cobbled streets, traditional Canary architecture, small beach and municipal swimming pool.

Bathing can also be done at Charco de La Laja, a beautiful natural pool.

As well, there is Rosario district on the coast with stately homes such as El Conde, Los Dorta and El Cardón.

Major tourist places are the Joint Historic Centre of San Juan de La Rambla, San José Church, Los Alenes Mansion (Las Aguas), Amarilla de Las Rosas House, San Juan Bautista Church and Los Quevedos Mansion.
