Gigantes or "giants" is the word that best defines this great landscape of formations of up to 600 metres high that enter the sea and continue to be carved by the constant erosion of the massif.

They are composed of a rich marine bottom formed by algae, black coral and sponge.

The closest village is that of Los Gigantes where diving is a must.
